XM WX receivers come in two separate versions: aviation certified and a non-certified portable. Aviation certified receivers are designed for seamless integration into existing avionics. The portable receivers can be installed anywhere in your cockpit, or removed for increased weather awareness however you may travel.
WxWorx Portable Receiver

The WxWorx receiver is designed to decode XM WX Satellite Weather data and send it to your display device. Portable and unobtrusive, the receiver takes up hardly any space in your cockpit and can be easily moved from one plane to another. Equipped with advanced digital technology developed by XM Satellite Radio, it's a flexible gateway to the XM WX data stream. |
