Baron Mobile Threat Net®

Localized Weather Data at Your Fingertips
Whether your passion is public safety or storm chasing, you'll never again have to rely on spotty cell phone Internet or radio chatter to know where the weather is.

Mobile Threat Net® goes with you on the road, letting you track storms on-the-fly and pinpoint dangerous areas using your laptop or Tablet PC.

Its intuitive, user-friendly design means that radar, wind shear detection, county warnings and more appear instantly at the click of a button. Mobile Threat Net's weather data updates automatically, so it's always there. Because you've got more important things on your mind.

Weather Data You Can Depend On
The system employs a continuous signal from XM WX Satellite Weather, the nation's leading satellite-delivered weather service. Because XM's dual-redundant satellites transmit in the powerful S-Band frequency, you'll always have a data-rich signal, no matter where the storms take you.

The only hardware that's necessary besides your mobile PC is a small XM antenna and the XM WX data receiver. The receiver is available in either plug-and-play or wireless Bluetooth® configurations, and can be moved between vehicles with ease.

An optional GPS interface lets you track your position on the roads in relation to the weather—and even be alerted audibly when you’re about to drive into hazardous areas.

Making Your Work Safer and More Productive
Public safety officials use Mobile Threat Net to help position spotters and allocate resources, while storm chasers use it to pursue their passion with more situational awareness than ever before.

Whatever your goal, timely weather information is a must. With Mobile Threat Net, the latest updates are always there, in your vehicle and ready to go to work.
