WxWorx on Wings Supports New Data Products for Aviator Service Tier with Canadian Coverage
April 15, 2007

At the 2007 Sun N Fun Fly-in, WxWorx announced that its WxWorx on Wings datalink weather system will be supporting the new XM WX Aviator suite of products.  WxWorx on Wings utilizes the continuous satellite broadcast of XM WX Satellite Weather, the nation’s leading provider of satellite-delivered weather data. High Resolution radar for Puerto Rico and Canada have been integrated into the Aviator service tier.  With these new data products, pilots using the WxWorx on Wings system will have the information they need, where and when it is needed most.

In addition, Canadian  METARs, TAFs, SIGMETS, Canadian Messages, Outlooks, and Winds Aloft have been added to the WxWorx on Wings application.  The price of the Aviator service tier will remain the same, $49.99 a month, providing subscribers with more data at the same tremendous value.

“These enhancements to the WxWorx on Wings software will give pilots more information in more locations than ever before,” said Bob Baron, President and CEO of WxWorx.  “With WxWorx and XM WX, pilots will have the most reliable and comprehensive information available in the commercial marketplace.”

The enhancements from Canada to Puerto Rico are all incorporated into the WxWorx on Wings software. The enhanced WxWorx on Wings software will be on display in the XM WX Satellite Weather booth (C24-25) at the Sun N Fun Fly-in April 17-23, 2007.
